A million dry shampoos later and. . . I think I’ve finally found at least a “kind” of dry shampoo that I will be sticking with! All thanks to my mom actually- lol! Today I will be sharing a dry shampoo hack- no wash refresh! So what’s the secret?. . .

OUTFIT DETAILS

DRESS : H&M– wearing a small (and it’s on sale!) // HEADBAND : Amazon– mulitpack with a ton of different colors- one for every outfit, literally // SHOES : Lulu’s – wearing my true size 7 // BAG : Gucci Velvet Pink Marmont (amazon dupe – sold out) //

Dry shampoo in a POWDER form! My mom uses the Acure brand– which I ordered but it wasn’t going to be here for a few days. So I decided to see if I could find another kind that would work in the mean time since I was completely out! Low and behold Target ( I mean duhhh they have everything lol) was where I found ANOTHER great option from Kristin Ess. The best part? It’s unscented! I always go for mostly unscented hair products- with the exception of a few, so that I don’t have a wild concoction of scents going on in my hair!

So why does powder dry shampoo work better?

To be honest, I personally like it more because it’s NOT a spray. It’s almost impossible to find a spray that doesn’t either leave my hair hard or with some weird sort of residue. I also feel like I am not wasting as much as I do with the spray. With the powder, a little goes a long way and you can really work it in first and see if you need more.

**** PRO TIP: If you have darker hair or are not a blonde- AFTER you have completely finished working in your dry shampoo, if you still see a grey/white looking finish, use your hair dryer to blow excess off your hair!

How to use powder dry shampoo

It’s super easy to use, however it’s a little bit different than the normal spray kind. Instead of shaking it directly onto your scalp, to prevent waste and adding too much, sprinkle a tiny bit onto your finger tips and work it into your hair a little at a time.

Tried and true favorites. . .
