Repurposing A Coverup Into an Outfit

Wednesday, April 8, 2020

Today I am repurposing a coverup into an outfit! Since all beach plans and pool parties have been cancelled for the time being, and I’ve been dying to wear this coverup- I decided I would just make it into a cute look. I think you could do this with any tunic-like coverup!

OUTFIT DETAILS

COVERUP : Amazon- one size // SHORTS : American eagle- wearing an 8 // SHOES: Steve Madden- similar here // SUNGLASSES : Quay //

This is one of my favorite Amazon purchases for this Summer! I was super excited to bring it to the beach with us, but of course, that hasn’t happened yet! And then they closed our pool too, so I decided I would just try and wear it as a tunic – it looked like something Free People would make (at a fraction of the cost- only $24) so I figured I could definitely get away with it.

The nice thing about it is that the embroidery is see through. Even on a day like today, it was SUPER hot, but I still felt cool! I just threw on a white bralette underneath and I was ready! Another thing I loved about this outfit was that it was INCREDIBLY comfy! Most of the time I’ll come home and change into a t shirt or something and I didn’t- I literally wore this all day.

There are a few other cute coverups from my Amazon try on that would be perfect for this too! (Read that post here) I have even seen people wearing the open front ones with jean shorts and a tank underneath too, and it looks super cute! I think I’ll have to try that one next- below I linked a few other coverup options that can be styled by the pool or with some cute jean shorts!
