If there is any print that screams spring- it’s gingham! I’ve always loved wearing gingham for Spring. Even when I went through my SUPER preppy (Lilly and VV everyday lol) phase- I loved wearing it! It’s a classic print that’s been around for years and designers keep finding fun, new ways to redesign it each season!

This really cute dress from Asos has a ton of detail- between the gingham print, the smocking, and the ties, it’s pretty busy! So I paired it with a basic pair of nude sandals and matching tote. Smocking is also another one of my favorite trends – read and see my faves here – that I wear all Spring and Summer long!
I usually pair my gingham tops with something basic like white shorts or another solid color! I haven’t seen much print mixing with it- it stands out pretty well on it’s own.
