OUTFIT DETAILS

DRESS : Target – wearing a medium // BELT : Amazon // EARRINGS: Amazon // HEART TOTE : Stoney Clover // NECKLACE: Sis Kiss //

I was a little worried the first couple of days after delivering, because I wasn’t in that much pain with Liam. After day 3/4 I was pretty much back to normal. I think walking while pregnant definitely helped for a speedier recovery!

With Liam, I had a rough first week mentally. Looking back, I think a majority of that was coming down from all the pain medicine I was on, so I was glad to not have needed that this time. It also made me A LOT less groggy during birth as well!

I also want to remind you that every body, pregnancy, and baby are different! I’m a very busy person, and hate to sit still, so we are out and about a lot. I know that a lot (or should I say most) are not like that- and that’s nothing to feel bad about. Doing what makes you feel the best is what you should do, don’t feel pressured to do anything out of your comfort zone.

Newborn Must Haves

  1. Dock A Tot – I shared this on stories today, but we use it daily! Perfect to carry from room to room super easily.
  2. Boppy– if you’re breastfeeding (or bottle) it’s a must! Makes it super comfortable and easy to hold and feed baby! We also used ours to prop up Liam and for tummy time when he was older!
  3. Lanolin– definitely a must have if you’re breastfeeding – trust me! It will save your nipples!
  4. Convertible Pack N Play – this is what Beaux sleeps in over a bassinet. That way when he’s older, we can use it as a pack n play and for travel and not have to purchase something extra.
  5. Solly Wrap– another daily use item for us! Especially if you have another kid or have stuff to do around the house without having to put down baby! Comfortable and easy to use by yourself.
  6. Muslin swaddles– this brand is our favorite and the best to swaddle with! We have soooo many packs!
  7. Gowns– I put this on here for the middle of the night feedings/ diaper changes. Trust me, they are is just easier.
