Let’s talk Summer 2021 trends! There are some new favorites and old ones coming back as well this Summer and I want to give my opinions on them! Some are oh-so- adorable and others I am taking a hard pass on. Be sure to let me know which trends you’re planning on snagging this Summer season!

Braided Sandals- NAY
For the most part, this is a trend I can’t get behind! Don’t get me wrong, a lot of girls can pull them off but they do NOT look good on me! There have been some cute styles that have come out with braid-like components- but overall, the braid style is not for me!
Mini Bags – eh
I’m putting “eh” because it depends on how mini! LOL. I’ve seen some that are like the size of an Altoids can- like what can you fit in there? I’ll take one that can at least fit my phone and card case!
Pastels – yay
Of course I am so on board for pastels! Especially my favorite, pink! I think they are perfect for Spring but I’m definitely excited that they’re staying on trend for Summer too!
Mini Skirts- yay
Who doesn’t love a good skirt?! And they are perfect for us shorter gals to give the illusion of longer legs, too! Sign me up!
Straps on Straps – yay
I love the added and extra straps styles I’ve seen on dresses and tanks! I think it’s a super fun, and easy addition that can make a whole look!
Crop Tops- nay
I am just not a HUGE crop top fan. Now I will wear them with high waisted pants or shorts- or maybe a cute top/skirt set, but overall they’re a no go for me!
Head Scarves- yay
Loooooove love love head scarves! There are so many fun ways to wear them- and they come in all different patterns and colors- so you could literally get one for each outfit. Definite yes!
Pops of yellow – yay
I used to NEVER like yellow! I thought it always clashed with my blonde hair. I’ve started wearing it a bit more recently and I really like it! Pops of yellow in clothing and added accessories are a definite yes this Summer.
Fringe bags- nay
Can’t do fringe. Not on a bag, not on a jacket. Just not my style LOL. Always looked too western for me!
Cutout Dresses – yay
These are to die for!!!!! I’ve seen a ton of maxis that have waist cut outs and they are so so so adorable!
