Spring Trend : Smocking

Smocking has always been one of my favorite Spring and Summer trends! It’s such a cute touch on tops, dresses, and skirts. I’ve even seen a few pairs of pants with smocked waists and they’re adorable too! So today I thought I would share with you some of my favorite finds and a few ways to style them as well! Today’s look was just an off the shoulder dress with a smocked bodice. I paired it with a neutral pair of wedges since this pattern was pretty busy- I should’ve saved this for tomorrow since it’s St. Patrick’s day! lol.  
DRESSES 
 
I love smocking on dresses! It adds some flair onto a plain dress or spices it up even more like in this pattern. The are also SUPER cute on a bump- I wore them nonstop when I was pregnant with Liam! Here are some other cute smocked dresses! 
 

 

SKIRTS 
 
For a more flirty look- pair your favorite crop top or tank with a smocked skirt! I did this the other day with my orange striped skirt and it was such a fun look! Here are more smocked skirt options! 
 

 
TOPS 
 
To make it more casual – or pair with your favorite jeans, add a smocked top! Throw on some wedges and you’re ready for date night.
