So excited to share with you ALLLL about one of my favorite places EVER! White sandy beaches and crystal clear blue water- it doesn’t get much better than this. Today I am sharing all about 30A, Alys Beach, & Destin, Florida : Where to Stay, Eat, & Play!

One of the new places we went this time (well new to me) was Topsail St Park– right off of 30A. The beaches are not crowded at all and it feels like an island. We will def be making it our new favorite beach. You have to ride a tram from the state park to get there (or bike about a mile) but it is so worth it. Maybe not the best with kids, but you should definitely visit there at least once.
Roughly it goes Destin – Miramar – Santa Rosa Beach – Seaside – Alys Beach (west to east). We like to stay in the Santa Rosa beach area (towards Destin and seaside there is a lot more traffic). I also like the area of Santa Rosa/ Seaside way better- that’s where we got married!

Since we’ve been here several times, I have a ton of great recommendations!

- Home2Suites (Destin)
- Hampton Inn & Suites (Destin)
If you have kids- I would opt for a nice AIRBNB- it’s easier and you’ll have a ton more space. A lot of the Hidden Dunes properties can be found on there- we’ve stayed in there 3 times! They’re always great and have direct beach access.

BEACHES
When we go, we usually try and stay to the Santa Rosa beach area of beaches, but this time it was just easier with Liam to go out right in Destin. It’s a little busier but if you have kids- going wherever is closest is recommended. If you go closer to Scenic Hwy 98- there’s more restaurants/snack places to munch on while you’re at the beach.

Gulfarium – my mom and grandparents used to take us here when we were little! It’s small but still lots of fun! Liam had a blast at the dolphin show!

Shopping – Destin Commons and Silver Sands Outlets are the two best places to shop down there! Ton’s of stores that are popular! There are also the shops further down at Grand Boulevard.
30A- There is so much to do on 30a! Even just walking around looking at the cute little town is fun!
