How To Get Organized

Wednesday, March 25, 2020

Let’s get organized! Since we have so much time on our hands right now! It’s a great time to learn how to get organized. We are planning on moving in a few months so I’m using this time to get things prepped a little bit and also toss a few things that we don’t need anymore- the less to move, the better!

BATHROOM

First up, let’s talk bathroom! My bathroom is 100% always the most unorganized room in the house. I think it’s because as a girl, you just have so many products you use DAILY it is so hard to keep them all put up- and organized so that they’re easily accessible. In our bathroom- we have a linen closet type area, the area under the sink, and two drawers under the sink as well. Not a ton of space- but we can definitely work with it!

In the closet area I have towels folded and extra linens- those are easy because they look neat as long as they’re folded. Then I have a set of different sized baskets- like these. Organizing my hair tools- curling iron, straightener, hair dryer etc. With these being used often- I usually just keep them here so the cords aren’t all tangled in a drawer- plus they take up a TON of space. Then, I used some of these to store bottled products that I don’t use EVERYDAY. I have my sectioned by face, body, and hair!

FRIDGE

For the fridge, I found these nifty things on Amazon! AN ABSOLUTE must- and I will say- they make your fridge very aesthetically pleasing too. Lol. It comes with 6 bins and will make keeping your fridge clean and organized- SO DANG EASY. I have another pack I use in some cabinets too! You can shop those here.

OFFICE

So technically I don’t even have an office right now- just basically the far end of the dining room lol. But I still like to keep it and my bookshelf organized so I can easily find things when I need them! I have these to store pencils, pens, and other longer things. This for staplers, note pads, etc. Keeps my drawers nice and tidy! My bookshelf is actually from Ikea- but they have basically the exact same one at Target and I love it! We have one turned on it’s side in Liam’s room too for his toys! This clear bin is also super cute for storing paper work- I have some pink folders inside to make it cute!

Other cute organizational finds!
