St. Augustine Beach Travel Guide

Recapping the St. Augustine part of our trip for you all with my St. Augustine Beach Travel Guide! We actually didn’t do much really in St. Augustine at all and pretty much stayed on the beach the whole time. There is a ton of fun stuff to do in St. Augustine but I think it would’ve been too hard to really do/see anything with a 3 month old and a 3 year old! In case you missed the recap of the Jacksonville part of our trip- you can find it here!

WHERE WE STAYED

We stayed at Marriott Courtyard on the beach – which it was techincally still across the street from the beach! It has a decent sized pool and a bistro/Starbucks in the lobby. Other than that it was nothing special hotel wise – there were a few others literally on the beach- which may be better if you have kids!

THINGS TO DO

  • Beach: one of the best parts about the beach here is that you can drive on it! Which I know sounds weird- but with kids- it’s definitely easier than lugging all your stuff and walking to the beach with it. You park up against the dunes and walk straight from your car (maybe 25 feet?) to wherever you want to set up! It was SOOO nice.
  • Ride bikes : our hotel had the bikes you just rent with the app right outside- they were actually very nice- but there are also a ton of other local shops/rentals too
  • Explore downtown
  • Splash pad in St. Augustine Beach
