OUTFIT DETAILS
SWIMSUIT : Amazon – medium // HAT : Target – similar here // SUNGLASSES : J Crew // ON BEAUX : Carter’s //
1. Sunhat / Beach hat
I always bring a hat! Even when I was younger and cared a lot less about my skin. LOL. Not only can they be extremely cute- but if you get burnt, you’ll want one to bring and wear so you can still go on the beach/pool and not have to stay in the shade. It also doubles as a cute accessory for some of your outfits AND a cute way to avoids washing that beach hair before dinner! I’ll link a few of my favorites that I brought with me on this trip below!
2. BB Cream
Huge fan if BB cream over here! I love a thinner makeup look for the beach – especially when it’s so hot. My favorite also has SPF in it so that definitely a bonus too. If you naturally have some redness in your face – like me- it’s a good way to add some color and cover that a little as well. I usually don’t wear a full foundation at the beach because that and humidity = the grossest feeling ever in my opinion!
3. Maxi dress / coverup
I always bring along a maxi dress that can double as a coverup. We love just walking around and exploring so it’s easier if I have one piece of clothing I can throw on and off if we’re walking around and going to and from the beach. I also hate Jean shorts at the beach – so this is a cute and comfy way to avoid that! Plus you can dress it up for dinner one night. Less outfits to pack! Haha.
4. Beach bag / purse

Lastly, I always bring a beach bag that can double as a purse. We’re also trying to save room in the suitcase too! This trip I brought several but have been using my Stoney Clover terry tote the most. It’s beachy, and big enough to carry lots of things for me and the boys!
