We have loved being up in Colorado for the first time EVER! Everywhere you look it’s absolutely beautiful. .This is as far west as we haver been – besides California. It is so different from anything I have ever seen before and there is so much beauty to take in! So I wanted to shareHow to Spend a Day in Breckenridge Colorado.
Breakfast on Breck
First we started with breakfast to get nice and energized for the day! I had a ton of people recommend the Columbine Cafe and it really was a treat! They had a large menu and quick and friendly service. I even grabbed a mountain chai on my way out and it was delicious! They are tucked away right off Main Street so it’s super easy to get to!
Walk Around Town
I had planned on riding the Gondola with the boys, but unfortunately it was off until season starts in a few days. So we spent a little while walking around town peaking into the shops. There is a ton of stores and shops to snag some Colorado gear or anything else you need while you’re here! We also took a drive into the outskirts of town to go “moose hunting” as Liam calls it- aka looking for wildlife to see!
Lunch in Breckenridge
There are tons of good spots in Breckenridge to snag something to eat. Breckenridge Distillery came highly recommend but unfortunately we were too early! They are still closed for off season! We walked over to Ollie’s which is one a little water way and it was delicious and a fun atmosphere. It was basic bar and pub style food but still really good!
Resort Hanging
The resort that we booked- I will share once we leave- has amazing amenities. It honestly seems like a lot of the resorts here are like that too. We had a hot tub and outdoor playground, as well as a movie theatre and a family fun room. We hung out there for a little while before grabbing dinner!
