Today I wanted to give you a more in depth review of one of my latest designer purchases: Golden Goose sneakers! I have a few different versions and brands of dupes but I will say, they are not very similar to the real deal- in terms of how they feel. Looks? You can definitely get those for less. Let’s dive into my Golden Goose review: are they worth it?
Golden Goose comfort level: 9/10
I am only giving them a 9 because they HAVE to be broken in. Also, the first day I didn’t realize that most people wear them WITHOUT socks. So. . . yeah that definitely helped the blister situation. I really only had an issue on one foot- which I swear one of mine are bigger than the other. It was on the top of my last two toes where the laces were. All i did was slide on a band aid over top and I was good to go! Other than that, I wore them all day touring schools in Memphis and had 0 issues. NOT EVEN ON MY HEELS! That is usually where shoes get me!
Golden Goose Pricing: 5/10
I am saying 5/10 because they are SUPER expensive. They are definitely well made but I feel like $500 is just out of touch for most people. Not because you can’t afford it but because they’re tennis shoes- meant to get dirty and not have to be careful in so people usually aren’t willing to fork out $500+ for shoes that are meant for “play.” Which brings me to a contradictory point, they are already broken in a bit in terms of dirty. . . Which ultimately made me buy them. I felt like I didn’t have to be super careful in them because they already have marks and natural wear.

Golden Goose Sizing
Golden Goose run very true to size. I am a normal size 7, and the 37 fits me perfectly. I hate tight shoes so I was thrilled that these didn’t need to stretch out a lot, which was what I had been told. I think they would if you had a super wide foot, but other than that, I would stick to your normal shoe size.
