I have always loved to travel, even when I was little! So today I am sharing with you 4 money saving travel hacks that I use when I travel! These will help not only save you money, but time too! Plus, they may even allow you to take more or longer trips!
1. Browse in Private or Incognito Mode
Airlines and hotel sites use algorithims based on how likely you may be to make a purchase- there are multiple things that go into this but you guessed it- one of them is your location. By browsing in private, you may me able to score a better deal on your next vacation. You may also have better success using a VPN to do this, but it is a little more complicated.
2. Google Flight Notifications
When you go to search a flight on google, you have the option to be sent price changes via email. Look up your flight a few months (or whenever you can) in advance and turn on notifications so you’ll know when your EXACT flight is the cheapest! It will also tell you if the price is higher or lower than normal.
3. Raise App for Discounted Gift Cards
I’ve used this app for a ton of different gift cards. Not only can you do Hotel and Airlines- you can also save on your favorite restaurants ( I use them often for Starbucks). If you have already found the flight you want to book- be sure to check here first for discounted gift cards to save even more!
4. Free Breakfast
ALWAYS book the place with free breakfast! If you’re staying for a week that saves you about $100 or more depending on how many people are with you! Another tip that I always do (especially if you have kids) be sure to snag extra- apples, bars, cereal, etc.- for snacks on the road or during your stay while you’re out and about!
