I am a classic just bring me flowers and some candy kinda girl for Valentine’s Day- I think between pregnancy and being married with kids I’m just like buy me some peonies, take me out to dinner and I’ll be set! LOL. Don’t get me wrong, I love celebrating holidays, but I would much rather save the money and travel somewhere- which is what we have been doing for major holidays that usually we would give each other gifts on!
However, I know that a lot of people love giving or receiving gifts- so I wanted to share a few gift ideas for this Valentine’s Day!
I think these coupons/books are a great idea! We have bought them before and they’re super funny! You could also make your own for your SO’s favorite dinners or desserts. A date night coupon book would also be a great idea- write down your favorite dates and have them turn one in when they want a little extra time with you!
Other Valentine’s Gift Ideas
I also like the idea of “themed” gifts. They’re super easy to put together, and if you know your partner well enough- they can really make them smile!
- MOVIE – a cozy pair of pjs, their favorite candy, and favorite (or just fun) movie to watch!
- GAME – round up some snacks and a fun game to play- maybe a new blanket or something cozy to snuggle up with while you play!
- DINNER – pick out some fun kitchen gadgets, food to cook and have a fun night making your own V Day dinner!
- BAKE – grab come cake mix, some fun toppers, and new mixing bowls and have fun making your own creations- may the best cupcake win!
Put it in a cute basket they can reuse for decor, or if it’s a guy, storage! Lol.
Gifts for your galentines!
One of my all time favorite gifts to get is a Starbucks gift card- seriously no joke. It makes my day to know I’ll have my coffee paid for at least for the next few trips! Grab a card and a cute tumbler- stuff the tumbler with confetti or paper shreds with the gift card!
I like any gift cards really- dress them up with their favorite candy and let them pick out their own gift. I have always loved to shop- so I am never disappointed at the opportunity to head out and buy something!
