Today we’re chatting pregnancy safe skincare! I want to start this off by saying please PLEASE PLLLEAASSE consult your OWN physician before using any products etc. they know best and I am not a doctor. Just simply sharing what my physician and I have talked about and is safe for me!

Most of my skin care routine has stayed the same throughout pregnancy, but there are a couple of stronger products that I have had to sub out for the time being! So here is my pregnancy safe skincare routine!

Starting off, I use this cleansing balm to go ahead and remove all of my makeup. Not only does it WORK AMAZINGLY to remove my makeup, but it also acts a first step cleanser.

Next, I use this face wash to cleanse again. I have in between skin but with pregnancy it’s just all over the place. This one is for combination skin and works really well for me. There are several different kinds made by this brand that may fit your skin better based on it’s needs- oily, dry, etc.

Next, there are two serums that I am able to continue using during pregnancy- Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acid. I apply one in the AM after cleansing and one at night after cleansing. I prefer the HA in the morning, because it gives you a plump, refreshed face, but you can do either other! The Niacinamide is great if you have lots of or larger pores!

After that, we want to moisturize- in the morning I use this daily cleanser, and at night I use the thicker, cream version! If you are in need of moisture, I highly recommend the cream for nighttime. It will resupply your skin and keep it hydrated when you don’t have to worry about looking (or feeling) oily (during sleep!).

Last but not least, if I am getting ready for the day, I love this eye balm. Now I know this isn’t necessarily skin care BUUUTTT my dark circles show up SO bad during pregnancy and this glow stick is a life saver!

MISC Skin Care

To replace a retinol/stronger solution to help keep away breakouts and help resurface my skin, I have been using this toner. Obviously it is not the exact same- but it was the closest thing I could find that was pregnancy safe!

My pores are probably my biggest “skin problem” and I love these pore strips! I can’t stand being able to see them through my makeup- these strips will suck them right out in just a few minutes!
