I’ve finally started feeling a lot less sick! I’m just super tired- not a new symptom of pregnancy though! We did find out the gender- we will be dropping that news December 5th- so mark your calendars to see if you were right!
OUTFIT DETAILS
SWEATER DRESS : Amazon– wearing a medium // SNEAKERS : Steve Madden //
I am 16 weeks so exactly 4 months now- almost halfway! We will be going back to the doctor Tuesday- I think for the anatomy scan. They will also be checking on my hemorrhage down on my placenta to make sure it’s not moving or growing.
Kicks
I have been feeling faint little kicks every now and then so it’s a nice little reminder that baby 2 is there and moving around. I can’t really feel it on the outside yet- but in a few short weeks those baby kicks will get stronger and Liam and Caleb will be able to feel too.
Liam
We have taught Liam the word “baby” but I really don’t think he gets it right now! Maybe soon when my belly is massive he’ll be more curious but right now he’s just in his own little word lol!
The Bump
In the morning I hardly look pregnant, but after lunch, I look about halfway now. Lol. I started showing a tiny bit around 12 weeks and by about 14 my jeans were super tight lol.
Pregnancy and Weight Gain
Weight gain has been a huge topic and I think most women struggle with the fact that they’re gaining about 40+ lbs. I gained 50~ with Liam and it was hard. But this time I know what to kind of expect and I just want to enjoy my pregnancy while indulging and also staying healthy! I’m so miserable some of the time that when I feel well, I’ll eat whatever I want and I’m okay with that!
Liam vs this baby
As far as comparatively to Liam, I do feel a lot better this pregnancy. That could be because I know what to expect for the most part but the sickness has been bad but still better than with Liam. I’ve had a lot more pelvic pain with this one- and it also feels longer. I’ve known since 1 week with this one. I didn’t find out with Liam until about 9 weeks.
First Trimester Needs
A lot of these are just random, but any little thing that can make you just a tad more comfortable is worth it in my opinion. The morning ease drops helped me a ton early in the morning and at night. I wore the Mama Sea bands religiously in Boston and while it’s most likely a placebo effect, they helped. Heating and cooling pads for your back and pelvis go a long way too! Oh, and don’t forget your water. It’s ridiculous how much you need to drink pregnant but it can help you feel way better and way less nauseous.
