Today I wanted to share with you all some of the quarantine at-home beauty hacks I’ve been doing! Most of these I just do in between appointments as well- so their useful after all this is over too! Just in case you missed it: watch the full IGTV here!
OUTFIT DETAILS

ROOT TOUCH UP
For my root touch up- I’ve been using this by L’Oreal. It’s super easy to use and comes in a TON of colors. On top of that I usually add in some dry shampoo (only do this one if you’re blonde) to blend it together even more at the root area! The touch spray is good for any color though- and will even cover up those grays – if you have them!
DIY BROWS
For the brows- I just got this at home beard dye kit- weird I know but it works lol! It also comes in a ton of colors and is a simple 3-5 minute process, depending on how dark you want them.
- Start with a clean, makeup free face. Pluck brows where needed
- Mix TEENY TINY amounts of color and activator tubes.
- Apply to brows as if you were filling them in.
- Wait 3-5 minutes depending on how dark you want them.
- Wash/rinse off!
That’s it you’re done! DIY brow dyeing!
AT HOME DIP & GEL NAILS
For the dip kit- remember it comes with the acrylic and CLEAR color- so if you want them to actually be colored buy an additional pink or white or whatever color you want in the dip powder- any brand should work. The instructions and all the supplies are inside the box, so it’s super easy!
For the gel nails- you’ll need to get the light, polish, base, and top coat (oh and acetone too to wipe off the sticky). It’s a bit more expensive but if you do your nails at home like me, it’s totally worth it in the long run!
- Buff/file nails. If you buff the entire top layer of your nail it will last longer.
- Base coat under light 1min
- Add your color – each coat needs to be under the light for 1 min.
- Top coat 1 min.
- Wipe with acetone!
It’s really easy and for gel the whole process only takes me an 1 hour so- it’s hard when you can only do one hand at a time lol!
