24 Birthday Questions

So I decided to answer some other questions again this year! I just picked random ones- I don’t think there were too many of the same so I just chose my favorites! These birthday photos took FOREVER to take! Lol. The wind kept blowing so finally I decided to add TAPE to the back and tape them to the wall behind me so they would stay! HAHA.

1. How old were you when you had Liam? I had just turned 22! Liam was a surprise- but one we wouldn’t trade for the world! I had just graduated and had him 3 weeks later! You can read all about his birth story here!
2. How do you balance being a mom and blogging? It’s hard. Something I’ve struggled with for a long time. I think part of that comes from a lot of people just not accepting it as a “REAL JOB.” A few weeks ago, Caleb and I sat down and made a schedule for work/play. Which makes it a ton easier on both Liam and I- and helps me stay organized!
3. Favorite makeup product? Lashes for sure. Can’t live without them! You can find my favorites on this post here.
4. Most expensive thing you’ve ever bought? My car! Haha- but I think was more about clothes/shoes/etc and that would be one of my bags! Lol
5. Hardest part about being a young mom? I think being a mom in general is hard. Yes, I am a “young mom” but I had already finished school, etc so I feel like my situation was a lot different than other young moms. Thankfully Caleb is a wonderful man and I didn’t have to worry about him leaving or anything like that lol. We had been talking about eloping right before I found out I was pregnant anyways! I would say the hardest thing is just the judgement and people just thinking I have no idea what I’m doing. (Which I guess I don’t – but does anyone really? Lol. Nothing can ever really prepare you.)
6. Why did you start blogging? I had always had a love for fashion and picking out my outfits- I did think even back in middle school- every Sunday I would pick out my outfits for the week. Once I was pregnant and not working as much I had a TON of time on my hands and that was the perfect time to start. I had followed bloggers for a while and did a ton of research before starting.
7. Favorite piece of clothing? This is hard lol. I’m sure it’s something pink . . . I honestly don’t think I can answer this- maybe my Spanx? Lol.
8. Favorite blogger? Emily Gemma for sure!! Her handle is @emilyanngemma I’ve followed her since like 2015 lol!
9. Go – to order from Starbucks? Usually just something simple- Iced Coffee with cream and caramel- but my all time favorite is an Iced Vanilla Bean Coconut Milk Latte.
10. Least favorite thing about blogging? Probably having to get ready everyday! Lol. Which I actually don’t not everyday. But sometimes it’s hard when Liam is in a mood and Caleb isn’t home!
11. Dream vacation? Honestly I have no idea. Somewhere tropical for sure. I’ve always wanted to go to Mykonos. There are sooooo many places I would love to go! We plan o traveling A TON when Caleb graduates.
12. Would you ever go back to school? Maybe- but it wouldn’t be to finish what I originally went for ( I was pre med). I would probably take an online MBA or something like that! But that would be years down the road.
13. What camera do you have? I use the Canon SL2- but I have a 50mm lens for it- not the kit lens!
14. What preset do you use? I actually make my own in Lightroom and just adjust it be the colors I want! I’m gonna do a video on it this week actually!
15. Favorite social mandedia? Pinterest! I could spend hours and hours on there lol.
16. How long will you be in Knoxville? For at least the next 4 years! Then it will depend on where Caleb matches for residency.
17. Dream house? We would love to live near the beach- we’ve always really loved Charleston, but I think we like the gulf more! So maybe Florida somewhere?
18. Do you and Caleb fight? HAHA. Yes all the time- We didn’t for the longest time. But with baby and living together comes a lot of stress- it’s inevitable.
19. Favorite store to shop? If I could only pick one I would probably say amazon?! Does that even count as a store? Lol. If not, I’d say Target for sure!
20. Favorite vacation? Destin! We love the gulf and the clear water there. Lots to do- shopping, kids activities, etc.
21. Favorite restaurant? Definitely Chick Fil A- fast food wise- nicer I’d probably say somewhere with good seafood on the coast! I love shrimp! Lol.
22. Do you have a budget? Yes and no. We try to follow one in real life lol. But work wise I have a pretty strictish one. I sell a TON of clothes. I just don’t have the room to keep everything but it also allows me to keep showing you all new stuff! My closet page is @oliviamaybellscloset
23. Do you all want more kids? Yes! I want like 2 or 3 maybe 4. Depends on how well the next one sleeps! Or if it’s a girl. I at least want 1 girl!
24. Did you ever get an intern? No I haven’t yet! And with everything going on right now I don’t think I’ll get one anytime soon! Unless it’s someone I kind of already know.
