OUTFIT DETAILS
Hey ladies! Today we’re going to chat about makin’ room in your closet for all those fun Spring pieces! I know I am PLUM OUT of closet space at this point- so it’s time to do some purging!1. Get Rid of Things That Don’t FitYALL. I am the worst at doing this. If I find something on sale, that doesn’t fit me, I still buy it and say oh I can wear that when I lose a few. . . Yeah, time to ditch those pieces hanging in your closet WITH THE TAGS still on! 2. Not My StyleNext thing I do is go through and find the things that I couldn’t see myself wearing anymore. My style/likes changes so frequently so I am constantly getting rid of things that I just won’t wear anymore. 3. Haven’t Worn It in FOREVERMy closet is separate by type of clothing but also by how often I have worn it- pieces that I wear frequently get put at the front and those pieces I haven’t worn since high school move toward the back. DRAG. THEM. OUT. and toss them! Not only could you score some funds for the upcoming seasons wardrobe, but you can also make room for the new stuff!4. I Can Fix That! No, Olivia, you can’t. And you definitely don’t have the time to! Lol! I have a dedicated section of stuff that has a hole- or needs a new button etc. I never get to it- it’s just a pile of stuff to toss. Maybe I’m just a weirdo- lol! Does anyone else do this!?Okay, so what do I do with it all? Sell sell sell it. If you can! I have a dedicated closet page where I sell things here. Check out my listings!I will also use poshmark to sell more expensive things or popular brands that I know will go quick! For those other items that almost no one else will buy, I usually will take them to Plato’s closet and pray that they buy them! Lol. Everything they don’t take and the rest of the leftovers gets donated to charity so I don’t have to worry about them taking up space in my house anymore!Happy Spring closet cleaning!
